Shipping Policy
1. Order Processing & Preparation Time
-
Preparation Time: Please allow about one week for preparation before I dispatch your order. As an independent artist, each artwork is individually inspected, carefully packaged, and prepared by hand to guarantee safe transport.
-
Packaging: Artworks are protected in transparent protective sleeves and shipped in flat rigid boxes or protective postal tubes.
-
Tracking: Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an automated email containing your tracking number and carrier details.
2. Shipping Destinations & Estimated Transit Times
We ship worldwide from Spain. Estimated transit times after dispatch are:
-
Spain (Peninsula & Balearic Islands): 2 – 5 business days
-
European Union (EU): 4 – 10 business days
-
United Kingdom & Switzerland: 5 – 12 business days
-
Rest of the World (USA, Canada, Australia, International): 7 – 20 business days
Note: Delivery times are estimates provided by shipping carriers and may vary due to carrier volume, seasonal peaks, or customs clearance procedures.
3. Shipping Costs & Calculation
Shipping costs will depend on your location, as well as the size and weight of the artwork. The exact shipping fee is automatically calculated and shown at checkout before you confirm and finalize your payment.
4. Maximum Delivery Window (EU Consumer Protection)
In accordance with Article 66 bis of Spanish consumer law (TRLGDCU), unless a specific delivery schedule has been mutually agreed upon, we will deliver your artwork no later than 30 calendar days from the date your contract of sale is formed. If we are unable to meet this statutory deadline, you have the right to request delivery within an additional reasonable timeframe or cancel your order for a full refund.
5. Customs, Import Duties & Local Taxes (Non-EU Orders)
-
Orders within the European Union, United Kingdom and Switzerland: No customs duties or additional import taxes apply to orders delivered within the EU.
-
International Orders (Outside the EU-UK-Switzerland): For deliveries outside the European Union, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, your package may be subject to local import duties, customs tariffs, or administrative fees levied by the destination country's customs authority. These charges are not included in our item prices or shipping fees and are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
6. Risk of Loss & Transit Damage (EU Compliant)
In accordance with Article 66 ter of the Spanish Consumer Law (TRLGDCU), the risk of loss, damage, or theft during transit remains entirely with us until you (or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier) physically take possession of the package.
If your package arrives damaged:
-
Note the visible packaging damage on the carrier's delivery receipt upon signing.
-
Take clear photographs of the exterior box/tube and the damaged packaging before and after opening.
-
Contact us immediately within 48 hours of delivery at lanatafanel@gmail.com with your order number and photos so we can initiate a claim with the carrier and arrange a replacement or refund under our legal guarantee.
7. Incorrect Delivery Addresses
Please double-check your shipping address during checkout. We are not responsible for delivery delays or failed deliveries caused by incomplete or incorrect addresses provided at the time of purchase. If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, reshipping costs will be charged to the buyer.
