Quiet Evening Fine Art Print

She came to me late one night. I loved her immediately and saved her for another day. By morning I had forgotten her, then I opened my phone by mistake and saw her again. I knew I had to start painting.
The reference was a photograph of Karin van Leyden by Man Ray, early 1930s. Next to Munch's Evening, the pose was almost identical. Munch spent his life painting the isolation of the modern individual. That felt like the right conversation to enter.
She was one of those paintings that didn't ask much. She just really wanted to exist. I didn't touch the same area twice.

This limited edition fine art print is produced in an edition of 30 per size. 
Each print is individually signed and numbered by the artist and printed on Sihl Creative 240 g/m², a 100% cotton fine art paper with a textured matte surface.

The print is presented with a white border around the image and is sold unframed. Each print is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity and shipped rolled in a protective tube.
